This event is designed for farriers, barefoot trimmer, veterinarians, chiropractors, trainers and any other equine professional, as well as dedicated & concerned horse owners.  The primary focus this year is on hoof care, however many facets of equine health care will be included as well.      This year we will be joined by Dr. Chris Pollitt and Dr. Donald Walsh, two of the world’s leading researchers of Laminitis.  Throughout their combined 6 lectures, they will cover some of their most recent research findings as well as the most relevant information they have to date on treating and hopefully preventing laminitis in horses.  In addition to Dr. Pollitt and Walsh, Gene Ovnicek will be featured in a 3 part series on a comprehensive approach to dealing with a variety of lameness issues, with a specific focus on “asking the horse.”  And, if that wasn’t enough, we will have many more interesting speakers offering a variety of useful information throughout the 2011 conference.  Don’t miss out on this opportunity to participate and contribute to an event that is dedicated to not only finding practical treatments for lameness and pathology, but ultimately helping to gain insight into preventing devastating lameness issues.

The I.L.P.C. offers two options for attendees.  The first two days of the conference is open only to E.L.P.O. members and subscribers, and will offer a variety of breakout sessions and workshops on an assortment of specific topics.  The remaining two days of the conference is open to everyone and will include several national and international speakers offering their latest research and protocols on lameness treatment and prevention.  Both options will offer an abundant amount of information.
